Wine Camp

A 3 Day/2 Night escape in beautiful Virginia Wine Country. It's a vacation with life experiences. The Bogaty family is ready to share their knowledge about running a family vineyard and making premium wines at their winery with you.

Wine Campers will experience

• Wine Appreciation and Education
• Life on a vineyard and working a winery
• The evolution of wine making in the region
• Harvesting (October) – picking, crushing, pressing grapes and clean up
• Bottling and Labeling – setting up bottling line, lab work, label layout, labeling, bottling and clean up (when available)
• In the field – leaf cluster thinning for wine quality, grape pest monitoring, soil and leaf tissue sampling, and general viticulture practice (when available)
• Food and wine pairing
• Understanding Veramar's unique terroir
• Hands on experience with Winemaker and Winery Owners
• Numerous tastings
