  Description: Attractive, light straw-yellow color. Complex, elegant and woody nose, with hints and nuances of pineapple. The goal of our winemaker was to create a barrel-fermented Chardonnay that was uniquely Virginian. This wine is well-married, with honey and toasty notes coming from the aging in French and Virginia barrels. Dense, rich and creamy in the mouth, with a well-balanced subtle acidity. We recommend pairing with Seared Ahi Tuna with Snow Pea and Red Onion Sauce.
