A portion of the wine is fermented and aged in barrel, resulting in a rich, profound offering that strikes the perfect balance between elegance and power. Luscious flavors of honeyed pear, citrus, ginger and delicate hints of mineral and spice carry through to the seemingly endless finish.

This wine has rich and intense flavors. Classic fruit aromas of lemons and limes, a hint of tropical fruit and dried herbs are present, along with a palate showing great length and depth. The wine finishes with a soft, but fresh natural acidity that balances the flavor intensity.

This is a superbly balanced wine that tastes of red berries, earth and intriguing spices. Inky violet in color with deep cherry and cassis aromas, made complex by an array of floral, mineral and herbal nuances. Powerful dark fruit flavors are firmed by solid tannins and lifted by gentle minerality.
